Modern Website Design Examples for the Financial Industry

Clean Websites for the Financial Industry

The financial industry has historically leaned toward more conservative branding, and you will notice this especially when browsing some of the largest bank websites. Lenders, fintech startups, and investment firms generally focus on creating the feeling of trust and this may often be reflected in leaning toward extreme simplicity.  There is no need for financial websites to be uninspiring in order to prioritize the outdated industry standards. Creating modern websites is no longer focused on sticking to minimalistic layouts.  Personalizing the message, images and flow can give users a much better insight into your organization without compromising the very essence of your business – trust and professionalism.

1. Simple design with unique elements for a national CPA company

This is the second round of website design for this client as we have been working together for over 10 years. In each iteration we have not departed very far from their branding principles as they are the very foundation of who they serve. This latest design incorporates some of the services and elements they have grown over the last decade.  Including the training events was important as the registration process used to incorporate a third-party element.  Today, all the registrations and payments are fully integrated, and the client management and overall process prove much easier.  Visit this website to see how a simple design can be enhanced by subtle design elements.

2. Business-Focused Banking Website

This client came to us looking for a redesign of their very outdated website.  Their strong branding colors posed a bit of a challenge with ADA-compliance aspects. We added secondary color options to soften the feel of the green and allow for a much calmer experience. This client was looking for a timeless website design with a big focus on security and compliance.  In banking, the FDIC-backed organizations are obligated to display the FDIC logo. Incorporating it in the website may not always be easy, but we created a simple banner that does not take away from the design but still assures compliance.

3. New York-Based CPA for Nonprofits

The sheer number of services offered called for a large and easy-to-access navigation.  Our client is focused on nonprofits and the main focus was to deliver conversions and keyword performance while maintaining a clean and well-executed website.  The content of the site was separated into palatable sections rather than overwhelming users with long forms or technical terminology. This allows for good SEO optimization without compromising the UX.

4. Financial Advisor with a Large Social Following

This design incorporates modern development elements at the same time, creating a calm and reliable feel for the visitors.  Financial Advisory Services require brand trust and proper representation of this aspect in website design is a big part of that practice. For our client, the ease of incorporating their podcasts was a key element to the redesign process.  We created automation and easy to use layouts to make the frequent updates easy and manageable.

5. Elevated Website Design for CPA Serving Affluent Clients

Focusing on higher net-worth clientele, this organization was looking for a more luxurious and exclusive feel to their website.  We have incorporated their personal photography and mixed it with stock photos and videos that closely represent the essence of their organization.
