For several years, we’ve helped Wegner CPAs achieve the highest rankings for the main keywords in the vast majority of the markets they serve. Their website is a large resource center for clients and other CPA companies. In 2025, we completed Wegner CPAs’ website refresh to keep their brand current.
Problem
The nature of the client’s industry requires frequent changes to web content. The site needed several custom post types that would most easily allow their staff to manage blog posts, upcoming webinars and past events, as well as other resources. The client asked for a more dynamic template and streamlined resource library to showcase the extent of their content. Since Wegner CPAs has a designated team to update the website, they also needed to improve the process of adding authors to blog posts.
Solution
To speed up the content creation time for the client, we created several sets of templates for webinars and posts. Rather than recreating a past webinar as a blog post, the client simply selects a taxonomy to change the template. Dynamic filtering and visibility were implemented site wide, as well as relations between content types. The Team Members post type replaced the need for user accounts which allows for more flexibility and ease when updating.
